"Jung in the Garden of Eden: A Myth of the Transformation of Consciousness," published in the scholarly depth psychology e-periodical DepthInsights, Fall 2014 issue. In it I show how the acquisition of the knowledge of good and evil in the biblical Eden story renders that story a myth about the acquisition of ego consciousness. Thus, the story is about the "elevation" of humans, not the "fall of man." Click here to read it.
