As to websites, we cannot be exhaustive, so we have selected them based on their reliability and usefulness for research. Because they are not numerous, we list them alphabetically rather than by category. Only free websites are listed.
As for blogs, they tend to focus on the role of myth in our modern society and on incorporating myth into one's personal life as a means of furthering one's happiness, creativity, and spirituality. They are arranged alphabetically by URL.

Joseph Campbell Foundation - Official website of the Joseph Campbell Foundation providing access to works by and about Joseph Campbell, including many previously unpublished lectures.
Mythology Names - Mythology section of the Behind the Name website (behindthename.com) that gives some etymology and the meaning of 992 names in mythology (also 535 biblical names), as well as the names in their original languages/alphabets, with some exceptions. These are brief capsule descriptions that can provide orientation for further research. The quality and detail of the entries is not uniform.
Mythosophia - Contains audios of various lectures on mythological subjects presented at the Joseph Campbell Foundation Mythological Roundtables in Ojai, California.
Theoi Greek Mythology - Well organized and reliable content about ancient Greek myths and their characters. The descriptions of the various deities, symbols, etc. include extensive references to and quotes from the original works in which they each appear.
NewMythologist - Site operated by Willi Paul focusing on ways to develop new myths for our society.
Myth Lab - Site also associated with Willi Paul experimenting with developing new myths.
Myth Matters - Site of Charles Andersen devoted to various aspects of myth.
Depth Psychology Alliance - World Mythology Group - Membership in Alliance required but is free. Then join World Mythology Group for online interaction.
NY Mythology Group - Based in NY, group of mythies interact online and in real meetings to discuss mythological topics.
